Our mission at West Haven Pediatrics has always been to provide quality healthcare to all of our patients and be a partner in the commitment to support public health and safety. Therefore, due to the resurgence of vaccine-preventable diseases such as Measles and Whooping Cough, we have formalized our office vaccination policy.
We will now only be able to provide care for those patients and their families who consent to immunizing their children according to the schedule established by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. HPV and Influenza will remain optional, as these are not required for school enrollment, although we continue to strongly recommend them.
